What to learn for Web programming

Web programming is an exciting field, full of opportunity… at least for the time being. It does look like the internet is here to stay. So if you want to learn to program for the Web, here are a few thoughts about the kind of things you need to learn about.

The Basics - What you MUST learn.

To be useful as a Web programmer at the very least you must know HTML, Javascript, and CSS. In addition, you will want to learn one of the server-side languages. You use the server-side code to create and deliver the HTML that is delivered to the Browsers out on the internet.
